About the opportunity
A leading national property consultancy is looking for a Commercial Valuer to join its valuation team, with a particular focus on the leisure sector. The role offers a varied portfolio of instructions and the chance to build your profile across the hotel, pub, restaurant, healthcare and leisure markets, supported by a well-established team and a genuine route to progression.
Key responsibilities

Undertake valuations for a range of purposes, including secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition and disposal, and insurance

Value leisure assets such as hotels, pubs and restaurants, health clubs, gyms, cinemas and other operational property, using both trading and investment approaches

Prepare clear, well-structured valuation reports in line with RICS Red Book standards

Analyse trading accounts and market evidence to support robust, defensible conclusions

Build and maintain relationships with lenders, owners, operators and investors

Contribute to business development and support the growth of the leisure valuation offering

Mentor and support junior members of the team where appropriate
About you

MRICS qualified, with RICS Registered Valuer status (or working towards it)

Proven experience in commercial valuation, ideally with exposure to leisure or operational property

Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies, including profits-based and DCF approaches

Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills

Commercially minded, with the confidence to deal directly with clients

A proactive, collaborative approach and a desire to grow within a team
